Yellow label & part number 8644344
which indicating the updated version.
*** If the vehicle still has the original older ETM with white label similar to one shown in the last picture (with part number 8644345 or 8644344), this unit will
NOT
be a plug and play.  Re-programming for the software "ETM Reload" will be needed.
This should be a plug-n-play unit, NO need to re-program for the compatible vehicles. Due to the history & condition of individual vehicle, a software reload may still required.
If the "Check Engine" and/or "ETS" lights were on, they need to be reset because VOLVO will not reset the fault code even a good part has been installed.

: New VOLVO dealerships will NOT install and/or program any used ETM. Their policies do not allow them to install any used unit. They have to sell customers the brand new ETM and download new software.
Buyers will have to install this unit themselves or have repair shops other than VOLVO dealerships to do the installation. ~~~
