1876 Centennial Phila International Exhibition Exhibitor Certificate Reading PA. Frame measures 25 1/2 X 32”. Open area of the matte is 17 X 24”. This is an ORIGINAL exhibitors certificate from the Centennial Exhibition, given to J.H. Sternbergh of Reading PA for his Surface Grinding Machine, No 8, group XXI. Beautiful graphics showing the crests of all the different countries represented. Certificate itself is in nice shape. There is a slightly darkened area down the center, and it looks like there are some small water marks or something similar along the right edge. The frame appears to be original and is a little bit rough in places but is still in good shape. I have not examined this out of the frame. Not many of these have turned up for sale, and usually the condition isn’t the best.
