UPDATED VERSION
VOLVO throttle body (ETM) for vehicles

They have the
Yellow label & part number 8644347
which indicating the updated version.
They could replace older ETM with white label & part number 9186793 as shown in the last picture.
Most of the times, they are plug-n-play, NO need to re-program for the compatible vehicles. Due to the history & condition of individual vehicle, a software reload may required.
If the vehicle has the original white label unit and did not have any software update during the recall period, it may not be able to communicate with the newer units.
If the "Check Engine" and/or "ETS" lights were on, they need to be reset because VOLVO will not reset the fault code even a good part has been installed.

: New VOLVO dealerships will NOT install and/or program any used ETM. Their policies do not allow them to install any used unit. They have to sell customers the brand new ETM and download new software.
Buyers will have to install this unit themselves or have repair shops other than VOLVO dealerships to do the installation. ~~~
