This is a nice old French violin labelled "Paolo Giacomelli" for sale!
A french violin from Collin-Mezin workshop, Mirecourt. Aside from the instruments bearing the Collin Mezin label, many models were produces under different brands, among them Paolo Giacomelli.
Length of the back 358 mm.
A very well crafted professional instrument features accurate craftsmanship.
The orange brown varnish covers well selected tonewood that feature exceptionally beautiful grain: medium to fine grained spruce was chosen for the top and medium flamed maple for the two-piece back.
The violin has a large and powerful voice
with warmth and a rich volume
