It has 4 stereo audio pairs avail on each video stream.
The Adtec Digital EN-30 can be factory configured as a single or dual channel (service) encoder. Video modules are available for MPEG 2 (VE1) or MPEG 4 AVC (VE2). The chassis can be configured with either one or two of each video modules.
High performance 1080i, 720P or D1 video encoding is precisely performed by the EN-30’s state of the art, highly optimized hardware compression modules. Rapid and efficient compression is applied to each of the two unique resolution and frame rate baseband inputs. The resulting service one and service two transport streams are internally multiplexed in compliance with the highest standards. The ASI input can be keyed to support ASI re-multiplexing allowing the EN30 to cascade up to three deep or build a six service MPTS without an external multiplexer.
Audio encoding includes four stereo pairs per video service. Modes include mono, stereo and 5.1 surround sound with mixed mode and codec support. MPEG Layer 1 Audio encoding is standard with keying options for Dolby AC3, AC3+ and AAC. Captions and ancillary data support includes analog CVBS waveform (608) and HDSDI VANC or HANC** (708).
Transport from the EN30 is delivered precisely in accordance with MPEG, DVB or ATSC standards using all three interfaces concurrently. The two independent services are internally multiplexed to the highest ETR-101 standards delivering excellent jitter and AV performance. The ASI and if optioned, DVBS/S2 modulated output delivers both services in
a MPTS while the IP output can be configured using the same MPTS or as two independent SPTS services with unique address and routing configurations.
EN30 IP Jitter Performance
If optioned, the IF/LB DVBS/S2 and Sx modulator delivers excellent performance for legacy DVBS and DVBS2 platforms with support for the new advanced DVBSX standard which improves bandwidth efficiency well beyond DVBS2. The EN30 chassis is redundantly powered, light weight and very quiet.
Control of the EN30 includes a fully featured front panel, SNMP and a comprehensive yet simple Browser based user interface.
