of 1876, the first official World's Fair in the United States, was held in Philadelphia
PA to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia. This fabric panel is of the Memorial Hall Art Gallery, one of several building at the exposition.

CONDITION:
The panel is in good condition with good color. It has been previously sewn and was more than likely used on the back of quilt, stitch marks and thread remnants are visible. There are a few light age spots, mostly along the edges. The eagle is missing at the top of the panel, above E Pluribus Unum. (Please see the photos).
