Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K Switcher

Description

Got this video mixer from a job lot. I can not get the firmware loaded. I can not figure out what is wrong with it and it looks like it is in pretty bad shape with missing screws. It is being sold for spare parts if anyone needs. Suitable for someone who wants to have this for a repair project.

Symptoms:
The unit powers on and the fans run. When I connect the usb to update firmware it sees the ATEM and tells me to update. I click update and when done it tells me that there is an update, so I try again but upon completion tells me that I need to update again. It is in a firmware load loop... the front panel screen lights up but is blank and no buttons light up.
