    This is the device to get if you want to...
    - Preview and feed multiple HD cameras to a live screen and/or live internet streaming...
    - or just record the single re-time switched live feed out a USB-C connection to a hard drive...
    - or do
    all the above
    including recording
    each individual camera for later editing!
    This is the ATEM to have if you want maximum HD flexibility in real time and post production.  The only real improvement I could see would be to pay several times more to get full 4k hardware for more resolution.  But at that point you would be looking at a 19" rack to hold all the extra expensive gear, etc., etc., so it all costs more, weighs more and takes more space.  That might be the best route to take if you are a local TV station, but for the other 98% of us this ATEM Mini Extreme ISO seems to be the best affordable option, including for houses of worship, local entertainment venues and the like.
    And here is another suggestion if you think that in the future you might want 4K videos of certain critical content: Instead of paying thousands of dollars more now to work in 4K, continue to track and record in HD and
    later
    pass that video through software like Topaz Video AI which is a product I can wholly recommend as being the real deal to enlarge and improve HD to 4K quality.  I've recently been using Topaz Video AI on a Macbook Pro M1 Max laptop and — yikes! — it can process video better than a ,000 setup of only a couple years ago! I'm not saying it will turn HD into exactly the same as native 4k — it can't
    quite
    do that — but it
    will
    create the same sized files as 4k and certainly impress your viewers as it has me with very real additional clarity and sharpness.
    So, at 0, my Blackmagic Design ATEM is priced for a quick sale.  Save several hundred dollars over the new retail price of ,295!
