    ARTWORK AND TEXT
This Book of Shadows is almost IDENTICAL TO CASSIE BLAKE’S BOOK. It is FILLED with spells from The Secret Circle television show and spells based on The Secret Circle book series. EVERY page from Cassie, Diana, and Jake's Book of Shadows has been replicated and added to this book. IF A SPELL PAGE WAS SEEN ON FILM, IT HAS BEEN REPRODUCED AND ADDED TO THIS BOOK.
This book contains roughly 500 pages! Almost half of it is filled with real spells and accurate information about Wicca.
    H
    ISTORICAL FANFICTION
This journal begins in the year 1645. It tells the story of how the six coven families fled England and came to America to escape the Witch Trials of Bury St Edmunds, how they ended up in Massachusetts in 1692 and it explains their involvement in the Salem Witch Trials. The 15 owners from 1645 to 2011 all made different contributions. The earliest entries look like they were written with a quill pen. Spells and ancestors that were mentioned in the Secret Circle novels have been added to this Book of Shadows.
The spells and journal entries are all as historically accurate as possible.
    Examples:
-The spells from the 1600s involve bleeding sick people to cure them because that was a standard medical practice of the time.
-Spells of protection are cast around the soldiers who fought in the American Revolution.
-Newspaper articles about Gerald Gardner from the 1950s have been added.
    Table of Contents
1645-1654 The Witch Trials of Bury St Edmunds.

    1892-1912 Magical alphabets
    1912-1932 Seals of Solomon
1932-1954 SPELL PAGES FROM THE SHOW. These are IDENTICAL or almost IDENTICAL replica pages from the television show. Isis and Jay worked endlessly to recreate all these spell pages in almost perfect detail. All the artwork is original drawings and paintings by Isis or Jay. The images look identical to the prop books from the show, but we are NOT using the original images. The dark spells have been changed to positive ones. The original dark and creepy graphics have been re-created, but the spells are now about removing negativity. We don’t practice dark magic and we refuse to sell products that help people practice dark magic.
1954-1992 (Jane Blake) Gerald Gardner information and newspaper clippings
1992-2011 (Amelia Blake) Her letter to Cassie has been placed in an envelope added to the back of the book. She also added handwritten notes throughout the book.
2011- (Cassie Blake) Spells and fortune-telling games based upon the novels. Blake/Howard family tree.
The last half of the book is blank so you can add your own spells and use this book to build your own book of shadows.
    BOOK CONSTRUCTION
The book is 6.4 x 9 inches, which is almost exactly the same size as the one on the television show. The Blake Family Crest from the TV series is on the cover., It comes with an attached leather strap that wraps around the book, just like Cassie's book had.
On the TV show, the cameras often use blue filters. This makes it hard to tell the exact shade of color something is. Cassie's book appeared to be a shade of brown.  We have learned the actual book prop is greenish-brown. We do our best to find a
    faux leather
color the same color as Cassie's book.
On the TV show, the cameras often use blue filters which make the book appear a muted earthy green or a shade of brown. Because of this, our earlier Cassie books were brown. We have since learned the actual book prop is a shade of green. Our current version of the book is now a mixture of the two.
The page edges have been frayed and tea-stained so the book looks like it dates back to 1645.
This is a handmade item that is designed to look like an old family heirloom. It may have a few imperfections.
I hope you all love this book as much as I do. Thank you and blessed be,
    Isis Chandler
