1876 Centennial Exposition World's Fair Frosted Glass Shoe
Beautiful frosted glass shoe from the 1876 Centennial Exposition at the Philadelphia World's Fair.
This was probably offered as a souvenir at the fair. This was made by Gillinder & Sons and is marked on the bottom. You need to hld it up to the light and see the embossed letters on the inside of the shoe.
Used in good condition. There are a few small chips on the edge of the toe of the shoe. There are also some darks spots on the side of the show toward the back.
This is an antique original purchased from a glass collector's estate collection.
Measurements: approx 2.25" tall and 5" long
