I am selling this rare and iconic Sears Waterwitch 571.22 twin cylinder outboard boat motor by Kissel that was in a collection of vintage outboard motors sold at auction near me. This motor won design awards and is actually found in museums of industrial design for good reason. This example looks complete except for decals. It is clean and was stored on a motor rack in good storage area and is not a barn find as many are. The motor turns over and has compression and the propeller turns so drive line seems fine. It has an old coil in envelope as shown and it has new plugs in it so it may have been running but it was sold as probably needing service but not locked up. The parts have not been polished up for a full restoration. The major flaw that I can find are dents in the gas tanks. I did research and I believe a good dent guy who removes car dents can remove most of them or maybe you have a couple smooth tanks from a parts motor. In any case it looks to be a very nice probably workin with normal service example. I will include the stand for but it is not included in the actual listing. I am selling it as a complete unrestored probably needing service example. A real nice find. I prefer local pickup but will arrange shipping and I think it can go UPS ground. I will favor any identical offer that is for local pickup or currier pickup.
