    MG CAR FRICTION CONVERTIBLE 1950s BANDAI JAPAN WORKS RARE GREEN COLOR EXCELLENT. Here is a very nice MG car from the 1950's. In a nice green color that is very hard to find. The toy is friction and it works. This is quite large at 10.5 inches long and it does have some weight to it. The toy is clean and complete. Some light scratching here and there. It has the headlights, the removable windshield, the spare in the back and the often missing license plate that says '54 on it which may be the year of manufacture. Comes with a nice older replica box. Made by Bandai Japan. The bottom is nice as well as the tires and caps. The front tires are just a little loose. All the tires including the spare have the MG emblem, it is also on the front of the car. Real nice classic toy. This color MG sold last year at Bertoia auction house for 0 then you add the 23.5% buyers premium, tax and the crazy postal cost and you are easily talking a grand if not more.
