DESCRIPTION:
Here is an older plastic windup Nodding Head Duck with Parasol that is about 6-3/8" tall, give-or-take. The toy is a little dirty with some scattered wear - as seen in all the pictures. The windup mechanism works. You need to wind it up really good and then it will move forward at a rather slow, steady pace with the parasol spinning, and the white balls hitting the Duck's head, making the head bob around. But about half way through it's spring tension the toy will seam to run out of energy and stop. That's probably why you need to wind it up really good. There is a burr sticking out on each of the rear wheels, which may contribute too the Duck stopping sooner. The Duck's head also has a crack on the right side (close-up). Cute toy for someone's collection.
