Description

This custom intake manifold adapter will allow you to install a 65mm 4.7L Dodge throttle body onto a Jeep 4.0L intake manifold.
It is commonly used on stroker engines (4.5. 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8L) that need more airflow than the stock throttle can deliver.
The 4.0L intake opening will need to be enlarged to utilize the benefits of this adapter.
The following items are included in the kit:
1ea Adapter Plate
2ea 3/16" dowel pins (installed)
1ea stock throttle seal (between throttle and adapter plate)
1ea stock throttle gasket, modified with larger bore (between plate and intake manifold)
4ea M6 x 20 socket head cap screws (holds plate to manifold)
3ea M6 x 35 hex head bolts (holds throttle to adapter plate)
1ea 1/4" NPT plug (to plug vacuum port)
This billet adapter is made by Trusted Design Services, LLC of Bandera County, TX
Made solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock.
It is .60" thick and milled on every side to ensure perfect fit and function.
Works with 1999 and newer 4.0L intakes.
Actual bore of the Adapter Plate is 68MM.
The 1999 intake will fit on 1992 and newer engines.
It is .600" thick and milled on every side to ensure perfect fit and function.
All mounting hardware is stainless steel.
Gaskets are from Fel Pro.
The adapter is designed for 1999 and newer Jeep intakes.
The 1999 intake will fit on 1992 and newer 4.0L engines.
Utilizes throttle body from 1999-2004 Dodge Durango, 4.7L engine.
