TOLLEY ON THE SOO Railroad Heisey Custard Glass Mug ≈ 1909 Punty Band w/Roses
This listing is for a custard glass souvenir mug / cup with "
Tolley on The Soo
" in script above a hand painted roses and leaves design. Tolley On The Soo, North Dakota (now just Tolley) was founded about 1905 in Renville County North Dakota when the Soo Line Railroad was built.
This mug was made by Heisey in their #1220 Pattern called Punty Band or Thumbprint Band. The mug measures about 3.5 inches tall. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is only a hint of gold left on the rim but the writing and roses are crisp and complete. My guess is that this was made circa 1910.
