Vintage Occupied Japan Celluloid Santa w/ Bell Wind-Up-C

Description

This celluloid Santa Claus wind-up is 4.5 inches (11 cm) tall. He has a westernized face with large rounded eyes.
The figure is marked Made in Occupied Japan in the celluloid on the lower part of the toy sack Santa holds over his shoulder. The other arm holds a dangling bell. Santa is all celluloid with a tin base. The head will move back and forth with a slight nodding motion as the toy moves.
When wound with the attached key the figure rolls forward in a circle. The motion is a bit uneven due to slightly off-set wheels This causes the Santa's head to wobble and the bell to swing.  Condition is good with no dents and one small stress crack in the celluloid near one of the base tabs. The arm that holds the sack has a slight deformed spot on the seam near the elbow (looks like it came that way from the factory). The colors are good but not as bright as my other examples.
